| Market Forecast | Though the steel output of our state has exceeded 300 million tons, it still needs to import large quantities of special steel products each year, of which, the most is the heatproof alloy steel products for power station equipment use with 2 million tons imported annually; domestic demand for smallbore pipe of different varieties is about 350,000 tons and that for widebore steel pipe is about 220,000 tons each year. The annual market demand is over RMB 60 billion yuan. Petrochemical industry uses heatproof alloy products in large quantities, including corrosion resistant and heat & pressure proof alloy steel pipe and high temperature alloy.
